Our contribution to Ethiopia

Local manufacturing for a stronger health system.

Ethiopia has made local production of medicines and medical supplies a national priority. Venora supports this by producing everyday diagnostic consumables in the country, serving Ethiopia first with a regional outlook.

  • Import substitution

Replacing imported tubes and containers with locally made products helps save foreign currency.

  • Supply security

Shorter lead times and less exposure to shipping and foreign-exchange delays for laboratories.

  • Skilled employment

Jobs for operators, technicians, engineers, pharmacists and quality staff.

  • Technology transfer

Building local know-how in precision moulding, cleanroom work and medical device quality systems.

  • Local supply chain

Sourcing packaging, printing and services from Ethiopian suppliers where quality allows.

  • Better diagnostics

Reliable specimen collection supports accurate test results and patient care.
